One of my biggest fears is that my time will run out before I can write up a Substack on all the garbage bills that Robin Vos and his merry band of sycophants passed or at least attempted to pass this past session. One of the bills that I’ve been recently reminded of was AB470, a bill that gives the right to bid on power transmission projects to just three companies. Outside companies are not allowed in the initial process. Read the bill history below.
More than one watch dog group warned about the rise in energy rates in other states that enacted the same law. Even WISN’s Dan O’Donnell spent more than just a few minutes talking about how bad the idea is for consumers.
The above information of course, did not stop Vos and from furthering his mission to sell us out at every turn. These companies have BIG dollars and are willing to buy their way into an oligarchy.
As has been Vos’s practice, the vote in the Assembly was taken by a voice vote. Kudos to those who demanded their No vote be recorded.
As with many bills, Senators like Andre Jacque were able to kill the bill in the senate… But believe me… It will be back.
